The date Jan.15th, 2010. I walked into a class entitled Social and Digital Media offered through my PR program at Humber College. Some of you may be asking yourself what is this? That is exactly what was going through my mind!
Overwhelmed and confident I would never be able to figure it out I began to panic. Our prof had us sign up for all kinds of networks.
Twitter (@Jacque77), Facebook, Tumbler, Blogspot (www.themanitobababe.com) just to name a few.
After only four short months I feel as though I have a real grasp on most of the applications.
I definatly see the value in online networking and am proud to say I am a twitterholic.
So my advice for future PR students...just engage, be a part of the conversation.
